agentwhy

For companies

Work with the person who makes agentwhy.

AI agents are new, and what they do with a team's files is still hard to see. I built agentwhy to show exactly that, so I know where it goes wrong and what to change.

Ways we can work together

  • Hire me

Your company works with AI agents and needs someone who knows what they do with files. I learned it by building agentwhy, and I can bring it into your team. Let's talk about a role.

    Write about it
  • Book my time

Your people build with an AI agent, like Claude Code or Codex. I can go through what it opened on their computers with you, or run a workshop or a talk. You pay for my time, agreed before we start.

  • Ongoing support for your team

agentwhy stays free. If your team relies on it, you can pay for help that does not run out: setting it up on every computer, training for your people, and an answer within a time we agree on when something goes wrong. A written agreement, a fixed monthly price.

  • Bring it into your product

You make an AI agent, or a tool where people build apps with one. Let's make agentwhy work with it, so your users can see what their agent opened.

    Write about it
  • Support the work

agentwhy is free. A company that supports it gives me time to keep it working as Claude Code and Codex change, and its logo goes under “Supported by” on this site.

I make agentwhy on my own, from the idea to the code. I started it after part of my own API key came back into my conversation through a helper, a second AI my agent started on its own, despite my rule. The story is on the blog, and the code is on GitHub.

Before it I made Planby, which won first place at WaysAwards 2024, hosted by WaysConf, and has over 1,700 stars on GitHub.
